The Upper Midwest Chapter of the Exhibit Designers and Producer’s Association is a Minnesota non profit corporation dedicated to fostering communication, camaraderie, and ethics.
The Twin Cities has long had one of the most innovative, professional exhibit design communities in North America. For over thirty years the upper Midwest ED&PA has been the voice of our local companies to the national association. By joining together with one voice we are able to impact the industry to better serve our clients. The most important benefit of membership is the opportunity to network with your peers and strategic partners to improve your business and better serve your exhibitor clients.
The national association has over 370 member companies in 18 countries all joining together for the purpose of education, networking, and improving standards for the advancement of our craft.

Photos from the UMEDPA’s Janaury Meeting on Monday, January 16th, at Alexander’s Mobility Services in Eagan, Minnesota. Cam Stevens, President of EDPA National, presented results from EDPA’s Pulse Survey and highlights from the EDPA ACCESS 2011 Conference. This meeting also included a tour of the facilities at Alexander’s Mobility Services, including a semi on display, the warehouse/office, and an overview of their shipping and inventory management system.

Photos from the Upper Midwest EDPA's Fall meeting, held Monday, October 17th at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, MN. This event featured a guided backstage tour for an exclusive look at how the Guthrie shows are taken from script to stage, including the expansive scene shop where sets are built and painted, and the costume shop and rehearsal spaces.

Tuesday, April 19th: UMEDPA Spring Meeting at the McNamara Alumni Center This meeting featured an in-depth look at three recent industry-related shows: EuroShop 2011, EXHIBITOR2011 and GlobalShop 2011. A full slide show featuring "the best of design presentation" from these events were presented along with a panel discussion and analysis.
